One of our flagship rug ranges. Even though the Herbal Wash rugs are modern creations, they look and feel like antiques. Each rug goes through a rigarous production process taking many days or even weeks to complete. After being expertly hand knotted with a carefully selected blend of New Zealand and Indian wool the pile of each rug is cut to an even height and manually delineated with scissors to enhance the clarity of the design. Following this the rugs are manually washed to give extra lustre and depth of colour. The Herbal wash range is special because the rugs undergo not just one but several cycles of these washes with the addition to the water of a special formula of herbs to give these rugs a beautiful golden hue which make them look like antiques. The intricate designs only enhance this impression of antiquity. The inherently superior quality of these rugs are for customers who simply want nothing but the best.
